Fight against drug trafficking, Dumani meets with the Special Chief Prosecutor of Montenegro

The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, met today in Podgorica with the Chief Special Prosecutor of Montenegro, Vladimir Novovi?.

SPAK announced the news through a post on social networks.

The focus of the talks was the topic of cooperation between the two countries, especially in apprehending people involved in drug trafficking.

"During the meeting, the excellent cooperation between the two institutions in the fight against transnational organized crime was appreciated, with particular emphasis on the detection and prosecution of perpetrators of drug trafficking in both countries," the post states.

On September 2 and 3, the head of SPAK paid a visit to the US. Dumani met in Washington with officials from the State Department, the Department of Justice and the FBI, with whom he discussed SPAK's close cooperation with US law enforcement agencies to crack down on international criminal organizations related to drug trafficking and money laundering.
