A couple of Albanians from Kosovo have been arrested by Italian police after being accused of being trained to carry out a terrorist attack in the neighboring country.
The man and woman are suspected of being trained by jihadists to carry out the attack through an explosion on behalf of the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (ISIS).
For this reason, on June 15, the Ross Carabinieri issued a restraining order, issued by the Trento Prosecutor, against the two suspects.
Investigative activities show that the two young men, born in Italy to families of Kosovar origin, engaged in the social, work and study context, had long been on the path of radicalization by jihadist propaganda on the Internet. After the attack, the two had to travel to Africa to join the terrorist organization.
During the operation, several controls were carried out which made possible the seizure of computer equipment and chemical products - precursors for the production of explosive devices - submitted to the Scientific Investigation Group for technical investigations./ ANSA
