Former minister Shkëlqim Cani was invited to testify today in SPAK, regarding the million-euro sterilization concession, which has so far led to the imprisonment of four people and four others under house arrest or mandatory appearance.
Commenting on Can's statement after he left SPAK, journalist Klodiana Lala commented on his statement, which according to her shows that there are other people involved.
Asked if former minister Ilir Beqaj will have work with SPAK again, Lala quoted Can's statement.
"It is important that today the prosecution has sent a businessman and an official behind bars. The prosecution has not raised elements of the criminal offense of corruption. What made an impression was a sentence by former minister Cani, who said:
"Why should a finance minister know a businessman? To give me some money too?".
This means that the businessman has given money. Let them find out who he gave it to," said journalist Lala.
