An Albanian was executed inside his car with firearms in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. Local media write that the victim has been identified as Arjanit Rizaj, 53 years old.

He was shot in front of the "Luis Vernaza" hospital, where he accompanied his wife who was visiting her sick father.

The Albanian himself was standing inside his vehicle parked in the hospital yard. The incident happened around 20:30 local time. According to Ecuadorian media, the perpetrators were two people riding a white motorcycle. One of them fired nine times and then they left in an unknown direction. The wife of the 53-year-old Albanian has stated for the investigators that she saw the whole scene from very close.

As can be seen from the images published on social networks, passers-by tried to help him, but the Albanian could not survive.

"He's bleeding. IM dying! Take care of him! Call the police!” - some people are heard shouting.

According to the Ecuadorian media, the Albanian received 9 bullets from a 9 mm caliber firearm. Most of the attendees who saw the tragic event left terrified.

Some others approached the victim and tried to help him. They got him out of the car and took him to the emergency door and then transferred him to a nursing home where he died where the 53-year-old died after admission.

The victim's wife told investigators that he did not work, as he was not legalized in Ecuador. According to her, he was helped with money from Albania or from a brother who lived in Canada. She said she had no idea about the reasons for the murder.

The murder happened on the same day when Dritan Rexhepi, the head of the "Bello" company, was arrested. With a long history in Ecuador, he was arrested by Turkish police at a residential complex in Istanbul.
