New details have emerged regarding the execution of 39-year-old Briken Sanaj on Sunday evening at "Kodrat e Diellit" in Tirana. The 39-year-old had returned from Italy two days ago to attend his close friend's wedding.

Meanwhile, the same sources emphasize that the 39-year-old is a person without a criminal record both in Albania and in Italy, where he lived in recent years. A Benz type car was used for his execution, the license plates of which were stolen two days ago in Tirana.

The crime happened at an hour when the area was populated and the crime was witnessed. It is learned that the residents of the residence have shown that they knew him by different names. According to them, the perpetrators were masked and shot him with 3 bullets in the head with a Kalashnikov.

The vehicle used by the perpetrators to leave the scene was found burned a few minutes after the execution in Qafe Kashar. One of the tracks that the police is investigating is that of revenge, after his brother had injured a person in 2012.

Police notification:

On 30.10.2022, in Kodra e Diellit, under still unclear circumstances, BS citizen, about 39 years old, was shot with a firearm, who died on the way to the hospital.

The Police Services immediately went to the scene, set up checkpoints and continue combing the area to identify and capture the perpetrator(s).

Several people were escorted to the Police, in Qafë Kashar, near a tile business, a vehicle was found burning.

The investigative group is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event and to capture any valuable evidence that may lead to the identification of the perpetrators.
