Following the request of the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, to abolish the 'prison arrest' measure, the Constitutional Court decided to review the case.

The Meeting of Judges of the Constitutional Court decided to move this matter to a plenary session based on documents.

Veliaj has been in prison since February 10 of last year, while it was the Constitutional Court that reinstated him.
