Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced on social media the launch of a new process to free national roadsides from unqualified construction.
As part of the Urban Renaissance 2.0 program, the government is imposing strict limits on entities operating near these axes, ensuring that "no race is left in the open sky."
Furthermore, according to this program, the entities involved will also contribute to the greening of spaces opposite national roads, treating them as a common part of the environment and not as the land of individual owners.
"The liberation of national highways has also begun, defining a limit for the withdrawal of entities, which must simultaneously ensure that no race will be under the open sky and at the same time, according to the criteria of the new Urban Renaissance 2.0 program, will contribute with a certain amount of greenery, together with the government, by treating the space along and opposite the national axes as part of our common home and not as no-man's land ," writes Prime Minister Rama.
