'I was forced to shoot', Paplekaj tells how he killed Pjerin Xhuvan in court: the police did not react

The court session in charge of Arbë Paplekaj, accused of murdering Pjerin Xhuvan in Elbasan, in April 2021, a few days before the general parliamentary elections, has ended.

" Neither I nor my lawyer have been notified. I have seen the inaction of the police in the conditions when my colleague was injured, I had no reaction from the police... and when I saw that my life was in danger, I was forced to shoot ", Paplekaj is quoted as having stated in the courtroom.
