The investor company emphasizes that IMT and IKMT have checked the works periodically certifying the correct implementation of the construction permit without finding a single centimeter of construction outside it.

The company "Geci Sh.pk", in the capacity of the investor in the construction of the "Hotel InterContinental Tirana", made a public clarification in which it rejected the statement of the DP deputy Ervin Salianji dated September 29, 2022, where he declares in a completely abusive manner that : In the 33-story building behind the "Tirana International Hotel & Conference Center", floors have been built without permission. The MP's statements are described by the company "Geci sh.pk" as irresponsible and abusive.

The company announces that it is the owner of the construction permit with No. A-29978/7 dated 18.03.2019, which has approved the 33-storey building destined for a 5-star Luxury Hotel, now with the 'InterContinental' brand.

Controls, verifications and inspections have been carried out by the authorities competent in the supervision of the territory, such as IKMT and IMT Tirana, in all phases of the permit according to the legislation in force.

From the acts of ascertainment, it has been proven that: The company "Geci sh.pk" has not built even one centimeter without a permit, let alone a floor without a permit. The company emphasizes that it is open and invites MP Salianji as well as all interested parties to go to the building and count the floors in the building and verify all the documentation possessed by the company.

For this matter, "Geci sh.pk" declares that it will address the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana and the Court with criminal charges against MP Ervin Salianji for Defamation and Damage to Image.
