The Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Angel Agaçi, has sued the journalists of the investigative show on the Italian RAI television.

In one of the episodes that dealt with the agreement between Italy and Albania on immigrants, Agaç's role was highlighted, where he was called a former lawyer for drug traffickers.

" Agaçi is an important Albanian lawyer with an office in Rome. In the past, his clients included some of the main Albanian mafia bosses, tried in Italy. In 2016, some of his clients ended up at the center of a legal controversy. According to what Italian magistrates reported, many Albanian mafia bosses, sentenced to sentences of 10 to 20 years in Italy, were extradited very easily to Albania, where after arriving there they served much lower sentences or were even released from prison," the "Report" report states.

When Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni went on vacation to Albania last summer to discuss the details of the migrant agreement, he was also present, alongside Edi Rama and the Italian Prime Minister.

The "Report" program quotes that: " Agaçi was a consultant to the head of Interpol, General Fabrizio Lisi, liaison officer between Tirana and Rome, in the fight against drug trafficking. Lisi had to manage a real estate operation that involved the ownership of some land for his foundation and turned to lawyer Agaçi who put him in contact with a relative of Artur Sheu, the head of drug traffickers with contacts with Cosa Nostra and Sacra Corona Unita . / Dosja
