The perpetrator of the murder of the 40-year-old man in Laç has been identified, here's what the police suspect

New details have been learned from the murder of Thursday evening in the "Erdogan" neighborhood in Laç, where Ilir Gjini was killed.

According to sources, the victim, who was also known by 3 other surnames, Kokaj, Lika and Nure, was shot with seven bullets.

The police have managed to identify and declare the suspected perpetrator wanted, whose name is not yet known.

He opened fire immediately after the 40-year-old had parked his vehicle, as he was heading towards the entrance of the building he lived in. Although he attempted to flee, Gjini was chased and shot again near the entrance of the building.

The victim was originally from Milot and lived in Laç. His past remains the subject of verification by investigators.

The first suspicions are related to his stay abroad, while experts are continuing their work to fully clarify the circumstances of the event, identify other perpetrators involved, and document the motives for this assassination.
