Details from the murder of the 40-year-old man in Laç, the victim had four surnames

Gunfire was reported in the town of Laç on Thursday evening. Ilir Lika, around 40 years old, lost his life as a result of the incident.

Police say the 40-year-old was initially injured, but died during transportation to the Trauma Hospital.

It is learned that Lika was executed with 7 bullets.

Further, the authorities emphasize that they have launched intensive investigations to fully clarify the circumstances, identify the perpetrator or perpetrators, and document the cause of this serious event, which has shocked the city of Laç.

According to the police, the victim had several other surnames such as Gjini, Kokaj and Nure.

Police Notification

"At around 22:10, in the town of Kurbin, a gunshot was fired at citizen I.Gj alias IL, alias IK, alias I. N, around 40 years old. He was urgently transported to the Trauma Hospital, but lost his life during transportation.

"The Police Services, immediately after receiving the notification, went to the scene and continue intensive checks in the area to locate and capture the perpetrator(s). In the meantime, a special investigative group has been established, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working intensively to capture any evidence that will serve the investigation, with the aim of clarifying and legally documenting the event, as well as identifying and capturing the perpetrator(s)," the police announced.
