Fier Customs Director Arlind Lagji has been suspended from his post, after the denunciation made in the media by citizen Algert Belulaj. The latter published the audio and video footage when Lagji threatened his life.

The Fier Customs Directorate has decided to suspend civil servant Arlind Lagji until the administrative investigation is completed and a final decision is made.

The latter stated that the conflicts with the director of Customs began after he learned that his wife had an extramarital affair with him.

"Ora investigim" published a few days ago the audio where the head of the institution threatened the citizen that he will tear him to pieces and then mentions the names of groups and persons who can eliminate him.

Director of Fier Customs, Arlind Lagji: I have never done anything shameful in my life 

Algert Belulaj: What did you do with a married woman? 

Fier Customs Director: Stay away from me 

Algert Belulaj: I will stay, but come on, explain the conversation a little

Por gjuha e kercenimeve nga Drejtori i Doganës së Fierit  nuk mbaron këtu. 

Gazetarja: Kemi parë dhe një video ku makina juaj është ndaluar. Çfarë ndodhi në atë kohë?

Algert Belulaj:  Kam dashur të pij kafe me bashkëshorten time në atë kohë sepse nuk e kisha të faktuar lidhjen jashtëmartesore. Kam qenë me  një shok. Kma marrë në telefon ish bashkëshortën. Ajo nuk mu përgjigj. Më mori Arlindi më tha të pijmë një kafe për të sqaruar se unë nuk kam asgjë me ty. Kemi vajtur në një lokal në Fier ku më ka futur në kurth bashkë me dy persona të tjerë, që nuk i njoh e më ka dhunuar. Arlind Lagji më ka drejtuar armën. Personi që del nga makina është Arlind Lagji dhe në makinë me të ka qenë ish gruaja ime.

But the threats from the head of the institution did not end there. Belulaj has stated that the head of Fier Customs raped him, shooting him with the back of his gun.
