The trial continues against Amar Shkëmbi and Bledar Polovinë, accused of involvement in the assassination attempt that occurred at the Shkozet overpass, where prosecutor Arjan Ndoj was targeted and his driver, Andi Maloku, was killed.

During the hearing, part of the court's discussions focused on the Sky ECC communications, which SPAK used as evidence in the case file. The defense claimed that there were inconsistencies in the communications administered and raised claims about their validity.

On the other hand, SPAK representatives have argued that the communications are complete and that the part of them related to the assassination episode is clear and documented.

During the review of the file materials, according to the indictment, in the communications attributed to Amar Shkëmbi there are discussions about finding the most suitable places for the execution of Rrumi, the person suspected of being the target of a planned assassination.

Meanwhile, lawyer Saimir Visha requested the declaration of invalidity and unusability of several minutes, a request that the court rejected, arguing that it had been expressed earlier during the preliminary hearing and found unfounded.

The court has accepted the defense's request to question former MP Halit Valteri as a witness in this trial.

According to SPAK, Bledar Polovina is suspected of being the second shooter in the Shkozet assassination attempt, while Amar Shkëmbi is accused of involvement in the event.

The assassination took place in November 2019 at the Shkozet overpass. Andi Maloku was killed in the incident, while prosecutor Arjan Ndoj and Aleksandër Laho were injured.
