The three children who killed their father Pëllumb Meta in Durrës appeared before the Court today. Hygerta Meta has declared in front of the black squads that she killed her father. Hygerta Meta:  Since it was very difficult, fearing the police, I left the guilt of the murder to my brother. The conflict started in December. I said no to the engagement. I was afraid that the rejection of the engagement would kill me. He cut the gas cylinder and did not fix it, but later. At the end of January, he told me again about the engagement. He told me that you have no business in this house, we were afraid. He also had conflicts with his mother, he hit her even when she was asleep because she woke up late. Judge: How did you get the idea to kill your father?

Hygerta Meta:  My mother once told me, my father said I will kill you, and once I heard it myself. I knew he had a gun and I knew the moment he came home from work. Dad came home from work, he was resting, he was on his back and I took the gun, I showed it to dad. He didn't say anything to me and told me where he was going with that gun. When he told me where he is going with him, I told him stand up, he ran away from me. I shot him after that. I was 2 meters away. I regretted it after I did it. But there is no going back.

Amarildo Meta:  I was aware of the event. I was at work. I knew they had conflicts. When I came home, dad was home. My sister told me about my sister's engagement, not my father.
