Luiza and Gjergji were married 25 years ago. One originating from the village of Cangonj and the other from the village of Shëngjergj, they met through matchmaking by their families.

With an age difference of 9 years, they decide to get married in 1998 and decide to emigrate to Greece, where they settle in Athens.

In the neighboring country they lived and worked together for 16 years until they finally decided to return to Albania in the village of Zęblak where they had built the house with the savings collected from emigration.

Parents of 2 daughters and a son, respectively 24, 23 and 21 years old, Gjergji had a good marital and family relationship. After returning to his homeland, Gjergji worked as a handyman in tiling and plumbing services, while Luiza worked in a tailor's shop in the city of Korca.

Saturday evening, July 29, 2023 under unclear circumstances at this time. Luiza is found murdered and wrapped in a carcaf in the apartment's septic tank. With several wounds on her body caused by Kalashnikov firearms, she was thrown and left there until she was found by her relatives.

But what was the reason that it came to this point where a good marital relationship ended in a macabre act. In the Uniko show you will follow in detail and with evidence and documents what is the ordeal of repeated suffering and violence that Luiza Mullalli has faced during the last 5 years.

Until 2018, everything seemed to be going well when one night, as evidenced by the court's decision to issue a protection order, one of the girls found a love message on her father Gjergjit's phone in July. This message, which was sent by a lady who was known by both husbands since 2010, served as the beginning of a continuous conflict in 5 years that ended tragically with 2 victims.

In the decision of the Korca Court of October 4, 2018, it is clarified that Luiza Mullalli, at that time 41, had requested a protection order against Gjezizi after he had raped her, and their two daughters were witnesses in this case.

Regarding the period after the immediate protection order was issued, she stated that the defendant complied with the measures and did not insult or threaten her and did not commit any other act of violence. There was no more communication between them.

Luiza requested that the two girls be interrogated in court, who during the testimony confirmed Luiza's claims, stating that the reason for the disagreements was a message found on their father's phone, while on September 14, 2018, the father grabbed him by the throat mother and hit her because she had opened the door with a screwdriver.

Judge Seladin Pysqyli decided to accept the lawsuit of Luzia Mullalli and decided to issue the protection order.

After this case, the marital situation between them continued to be tense and there were often other acts of violence which were not reported by Luiza as she wanted to protect the family.

The situation becomes unbearable and on November 6, 2022, Luiza appears at the doors of the justice system to request protection as she felt her life was seriously threatened by her husband Gjergji.

Judge Eglantina Mikani decided to accept the request for the issuance of the protection order and, among other measures, decided that he should keep a distance of 30 meters from Luiza and not to enter the apartment used by the two parties located in Zęblak, unit administrative Pojan, Maliq municipality.

After this situation of repeated violence and the impossibility of continuing cohabitation, on February 23, 2023, Luiza Mullalli submitted to the court the request for dissolution of the marriage.

After the first protection order, Gjergji stressed the consumption of alcohol. While after the protection order of 2022, he moved to live at his parents' house a few meters away where, according to the residents, he did not behave well with them and left them in a room after being told that the house was his.

The inhabitants of the village say that Gjergji had suspicions that Luiza was cheating on him, suspicions which he never managed to prove. According to the same sources from the village, the 55-year-old was upset with Luiza as she said that she had turned all 3 children against him.

But within 3 months of the request for dissolution of the marriage on May 19, 2023, Luiza goes to court again for the accusation against the co-spouse for domestic violence. .

On July 19, they had the last session held for the dissolution of the marriage, while the next session was scheduled for October 4, 2023. A session which apparently no longer has any purpose or reason to be held, since none of them is now alive.

A few hours after the murder of his wife, Gjergji Mullalli committed suicide in an abandoned house located near the bakery in the village of Zęblak.

Could this tragic event have been prevented when it was known from all institutions how endangered Luiza felt for her life is the question that must be answered before the policemen who caught Gjergj Mullalli who committed suicide are rewarded for their heroic act?!/ The show Unico
