The husband of the 55-year-old woman who died yesterday morning on the Peqin-Elbasan axis, after jumping from the van near the village of Papër, was arrested today.

Merushe Gjuzi was traveling with her friend towards Elbasan, when at one point she opened the door of the van and jumped out, meeting her immediate death.

According to the testimony of her friend Merushe Gjuzi, she seemed to be in a bad psychological state that morning after having a fight with her husband.

Through the psychological violence exerted on his wife, the 68-year-old allegedly influenced her serious condition, which, under these conditions, threw herself out of the van.

M.Gj., 68 years old, resident of Rrogozhinë will be investigated for the criminal offenses "Domestic violence" and "Causation of suicide".
