Minister Blendi Gonxhe has reacted to the accusations of the elected DP MP Klevis Balliu, who wrote on Facebook that the minister's wife's company "Albarant Sh.pk" is involved in a financial scandal.

According to him, the General Directorate of Taxes, through the Directorate of Unpaid Tax Liabilities, blocked the assets of "Albarant Sh.pk", after the company had not paid its fiscal obligations for seven years.

Gonxhe calls the accusations lies and challenges Balliu to take the "evidence" to the Prosecutor's Office. 

He explains to the public that the document they are referring to speaks of the release of property titles, but not a single line of it mentions the level of tax liability.

The value of 1.2 million Euros that Balliu Jr. shamelessly recited is comically grotesque!

Anyone who runs an honest business has faced a lack of liquidity, especially for prepayments. There are times when you can't pay even if you want to. The tax administration takes stringent measures to guarantee the obligation, and after its liquidation, it unblocks the accounts and property titles, something routine, just like for everyone.
The relationship of the "Albarent" company, run by my wife, with the tax authorities is correct. In 2023, I was not even a minister. In the "General Accounts Book" it is stated that in 15 years 2.3 million Euros have been paid for obligations, and in another document the obligations in real time are 0!

I emphasize the fact that the company "Albarent" has not benefited from any fiscal amnesty and has never been forgiven even a single tax liability, as the "voice" of the Opposition claims to shame!

I challenge the liar and every slanderer to prove the accusations! Every person, let alone an Opposition, must take the facts to the Prosecutor's Office, just as any tax information on "Albarent" can be verified at the Tax Office with my public permission!", writes Blendi Gonxhe on Facebook.
