"Blood is repaid with blood," these are some of the threats sent to 60-year-old Aurelio Valiante, the businessman from Centola who shot thieves in his home, killing Albanian Rivaldo Rusi and wounding Xhulijan Kurti.
The third robber who broke into his apartment escaped unharmed, but has not been found to this day.
The threats were posted on TikTok by Albanian users. According to Italian media , the messages are full of hatred and a thirst for revenge.
The messages are a consequence of what happened on the ground. A few days ago, about 30 Albanians, some of whom were family members of the victim, went to his house to take revenge.
For this reason, the man and his family have been moved to a protected location to avoid self-justification.
But in the meantime, there are also new developments from the investigations. Today's autopsy, ordered by the Vallo della Lucania Prosecutor's Office, was carried out by forensic doctor Francesco Lombardo.
The results, once submitted, will serve to better clarify the dynamics of the incident and shed light on the strikes that proved fatal for the Russian.
The positions of the shots will be decisive, as if the bullets were fired in the front of the body, the Italian could defend himself by saying he acted in self-defense.
Now that the autopsy has been completed, the body of the deceased has been handed over to the family.
Meanwhile, the investigation opened by the Vallo della Lucania Public Prosecutor's Office continues with new developments.
Three people are under investigation: Aurelio Valiante, 58, who is suspected of being the shooter; his brother Marco Valiante, 50, accused of helping him hide the body in a wine barrel that was later abandoned in the village; and Xhuliajn Kurtit, 27, an Albanian resident of Acerra, one of Russo's collaborators, currently hospitalized in serious condition at the Cardarelli hospital in Naples.
