Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has refused to get acquainted with the measures of the Special Court for the investigation against him, turning back the notification sent by mail.
GJKKO has announced today that the two letters that were sent to Berisha, one to the headquarters of the DP, to the Assembly and another to his home address, were returned with the signature "rejected".
According to the GJKKO measure, Berisha is required to appear twice a month and is prohibited from moving abroad, but he does not recognize this decision, stating that it is unconstitutional.
"The Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime has sent through the postal service the communication cards for the notification of the person under investigation, Mr. SB near the headquarters of the DP and at the home address, near the Parliament of Albania. The notice was returned with the signature 'Rejected'.
Communication receipts were also sent to defense lawyers, his representatives with a special power of attorney", informs GJKKO.
