The Special Appeal has left Safet Bajri in prison, as the main suspect behind the murder of Fatbardh Lici, following an assassination attempt in Kiras, Shkodra on August 10, 2018.

In the court session, Bajri did not accept that the facts presented by the prosecution be considered evidence.

Safet Bajri testified that on the day of the murder, he was at a disco and a fish restaurant, and then followed the same route home as every other day.

"I don't understand how these unrelated wiretaps can be called evidence. I was at a disco and a fish restaurant that day. When I go home, I'll go through that street, where I've always gone," he said.

Safet Bajri was arrested on February 21st as he is suspected of being behind the murder of Fatbardh Lici.

Along with Bajri, other suspects involved in this assassination are Behar Bajri and Astmer Bilali, already arrested for another criminal incident.

Also, a few days after Safet Bajri's arrest, his girlfriend, Eria Ago , was arrested, allegedly for helping the assailants flee the scene.
