The Special Court has left former president Ilir Meta in prison, accused of corruption, money laundering and concealment of wealth by SPAK.
The decision was given today after almost 5 hours of tense session where Monika Kryemadhi was also present.
The latter was left with the measure "obligation to appear", as were Pirro Xixho and Ema Çoku.
At the end of the session, in a statement to the media, Kryemadhi did not spare the ironies and accusations for SPAK prosecutors.
"For Mr. Xixho, an appearance obligation, because he is sick. Everything is so that Erisa Xixho, Meta, and me do not run. We had no expectations, it is difficult to go against the prosecution, but at least we got out what we had to say. The CEZ-DIA case started 6 years ago, they joined it with my accusations, and it was very funny when the prosecutor said Monika Kryemadhi removed her uterus in collaboration with Ilir Meta. I explained everything to the prosecutor's office and the judge, and the judge was shocked but did not change the prosecutor's decision. Ilir Meta is not dangerous. I would like the obligation to show up once a week, let's meet here", she said.
