An Italian journalist has burst into racist comments after the incident with the Italian tourists in Berat, who left a restaurant without paying.
Journalist Tommaso Cerno writes on the Twitter social network that Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has made a good gesture by paying their bill, but adds that if Albania had to pay for the thefts that Albanians have done in 20 years, it would go bankrupt as state.
"Nice gesture from Meloni for the unpaid bill of a group of Italian thieves. But if the Albanian embassy were to compensate Italy for the thefts committed in the last 20 years by Albanian citizens, it would go bankrupt," he writes.
Bel gesto di Meloni per il conto non pagato da un gruppo di italiani ladri. Ma se l'ambasciata albanian risarcisse l'Italia for i furti perpetrati negli ultimi 20 anno da cittadini albanesi andrebbe in bancarotta

And I'm sorry because I think you're a very intelligent person", answered Meta.

This journalist seems to have a big crush on Albanians, as only a few moments later he shared some posts from the Italian media where he talks about the "dark side of touristic Albania".
