The Special Anti-Corruption Court has reacted after the publication by the mayor, Erion Veliaj, of the transcript of the remarks during the court session of February 12, where he was assigned the security measure of " prison arrest ".

Given your high and ongoing interest, and by submitting a request for information, based on Law No. 119/2014 "On the Right to Information", as amended, regarding the authenticity of the part of the minutes of the court session, dated 12.02.2025, published today by the person under investigation Erion Veliaj, on his social network "Facebook", we inform you that it is not true.

From the verification made in the audio system of the court session for the interrogation of the persons under investigation Erion Veliaj, etc., dated 12.02.2025, specifically the time interval 6:34:02 PM - 6:34:57 PM (to which the suspect Erion Veliaj refers in his post) as well as from the minutes of the court session, it does not appear that the word "filth" was used by prosecutor Ols Dado at any time.
