Albanian football in mourning, referee passes away at the age of 27

The young Kosovo football referee, Rilind Berisha, has passed away. He was considered to have great potential and has refereed matches at various levels.

The Football Federation of Kosovo and numerous Kosovo football clubs have expressed condolences for the death of Rilind Berisha.

The deceased was also a footballer.

"With deep sorrow we received the news of the passing of your dearest friend, Rilind Berisha, so allow me, on behalf of myself, the FFK Executive Board, the clubs and the entire football community in Kosovo, to express our most sincere condolences. The early departure from this world of a personality dedicated to football, such as Rilind, has saddened the entire football community in Kosovo. You as a family must find the strength to cope with this great pain and always remember him with pride.
Rilind was a dedicated footballer, but also a promising referee, who made a valuable contribution to the distribution of justice in the Second League", writes the condolence telegram of the FFK president, Agim Ademi.
