The Greek authorities have destroyed an Albanian gang that was involved in the cultivation and trafficking of narcotics. The police have found in the village of Vila near Athens a plantation with two thousand cannabis roots planted in the middle of a forest.

The plantation was guarded by armed men with automatic rifles. At the "base" the police found three people (who may have been the guardians of the seedlings), while one of them was ready to use a Scorpion automatic.

In total, five Albanians (among them the two leaders of the group) and one Georgian (the partner of one of the "managers") were arrested. A Beretta gun with cartridges in the magazine was found on one of the arrested. Among the 5 arrested Albanians there is also a woman. The 6 detainees were between the ages of 24 and 45, including two leaders of the organization aged 45 and 41.

Anti-drug dogs were used to find the narcotics, while numerous police forces were used to surround the area since the traffickers had installed camera systems and alarm systems throughout the area.


The narcotic plants were in different growth periods and were 50-110 centimeters tall. Heavy weapons were also found in the traffickers' residence, while there were also large irrigation tanks.

The amount of money (2700) euros related to drug trafficking,

Keys corresponding to a vehicle they were using that had been reported stolen in February 2022, while it was noted that they had put false number plates on it
