Serious in Italy/ The car hits 2 pedestrians on the sidewalk, the 65-year-old Albanian dies

A 65-year-old Albanian man lost his life, while another unidentified person was hospitalized after being hit by a car while walking on the sidewalk. The event happened yesterday afternoon in via Corridoni in Florence, around 19:00.

The driver of the car and the passenger were also injured. The two hit pedestrians were rushed to the Careggi hospital, where the 65-year-old man of Albanian origin later died. The other injured person, who has not yet been identified, suffered a polytrauma.

Health workers and firefighters arrived at the scene, and freed the two people trapped inside the car.

From the first information, it is suspected that the car lost control and ended up on the sidewalk, hitting pedestrians.
