Muhamet Rrumbullaku is expected to wear the uniform of the General Director of the State Police. Confirmed sources told Ora News that he has made all work submissions to the office of the head of the Police Supervision Agency, a function he has exercised until now.
After the proposal of the Minister of the Interior, his official appointment is expected to take place on Wednesday next week (August 7) ??at the government meeting, while on Thursday the presentation to his subordinates at the central police department is planned.
Instead of Rrumbullak, Ardi Veliu is expected to be appointed at the head of the Police Oversight Agency. His name, unofficial sources say, has been signed to be the head of the roving control structure which will investigate police officers.
Veli's return to the state police comes after 1 year of separation, where after leaving the post of General Director, he held the post of Deputy Minister of Infrastructure.
On the other hand, Muhamet Rrumbullaku was the most talked about name on the list for General Director. Earlier, he held positions in the management of departments in the State Police, while he was also the director of the Tirana police for several years.
