The sexual abuse scandal of an 11-year-old girl in Pristina by five people has deepened. The media in Kosovo inform that the 11-year-old girl was reported missing in June of this year.

Also, for the sake of accurate information, we inform you that in June of this year, the minor was initially reported to the police station in Pristina as a missing person, in which case the guardian prosecutor was notified by the Juvenile Department of this prosecutor's office , who authorized the police to undertake all the necessary investigative actions and the same was found and interviewed in the presence of the social worker and the defender of the victims, as well as, was then sent to the shelter.

In an urgent manner, the guardian prosecutor has taken concrete investigative actions, with the aim of fully clarifying the case in question. The same has issued orders for various examinations and evaluations. Also, in the presence of the psychologist, the Center for Social Work and the defender of the minor victims, he was interrogated by the State Prosecutor and the investigations are continuing on the same case.

Both criminal cases are in separate investigative processes and belong to the Juvenile Procedure, therefore, the limitation of providing information will be done in order to preserve the integrity of the investigations and avoid any excessive publicity and information that leads to the identification of minors, as they seriously violate children's rights to privacy and are contrary to the Constitution, Laws and International Conventions for the protection of children.
