Today begins the implementation of the Kosovo-Serbia agreement on travel documents for the citizens of both countries, which entails the non-application of additional documents for entry and exit from either side.

Interior Minister Xelal Svecla has confirmed that documents for border entry and exit are not being issued.

"The measure has been removed from the border point in Brënjak. I can confirm that the same thing happened from the border points in Merdare, Dheun e Bardhë and Muçibaba. In Jarinje, we still do not have a car that has passed, but we can realistically conclude that the Serbian authorities have stopped issuing entry/exit cards for our citizens. The agreement to remove this document was reached last weekend. According to the agreement, citizens of the two countries cross the border only with an identification device. According to the agreement reached, both countries have issued PE, waiving the additional documents that had been applied for a long time in Serbia and would be issued by Kosovo within the framework of reciprocity, in case of entry and exit.
