As three weeks have passed since the mysterious disappearance of the well-known gambling businessman Ervis Martinaj, the Prosecutor's Office and the State Police have come to a dead end, which is the area of ??Shijak.

In Shijak, Ervis Martinaj has disappeared without an address and nothing is known about him, whether he was kidnapped and kept alive or the people he met that night executed him on the spot.

The family's hopes of finding the businessman alive have faded.

According to police sources, Martinaj, on the evening of August 8, left around 18:30 from the premises of this building, as his silhouette was filmed by a security camera.

Martinaj appears with sunglasses, short overalls and slippers.

While making a short movement in the area, an "Audi A8" type vehicle appears here, the same vehicle that appeared on August 5 at the Adriatic Hotel in Durrës.

According to the footage, Martinaj got into the front seat and the car left in the direction of the "Asllan Rusi" sports hall, entering the road of Lapraka.

Sources indicate that Martinaj had an apartment in this building, which he had rented.

While traveling towards Kashari, the silhouette of Martinaj and another person who accompanied him, who is suspected to be the arrested officer Jeton Lami, was stopped in the premises of a gas station.

It was in these areas that Martinaj and his companion changed cars, leaving the "Audi A8" and taking another vehicle.

Following the movement of this car, it turned out that Martinaj entered the area of ??Shijak.

In this area, it is believed that the businessman was called by a person he knew in prison 302 in Tirana, when the 40-year-old was arrested and kept in prison for 7 months for the incident of October 4, 2018 in the former Block, reports Ora News .

The police, but also the family members, are unable to explain what was the purpose of Martinaj's visit to Shijak.

But what is already known is the fact that Martinaj entered the apartment of a well-known name in the world of crime in this area.

Until this stage of the investigation, nothing is known about the fate of the 40-year-old, if he is alive or if he was killed and disappeared.

The family of the businessman who lives in Fushë-Kuqe in Laçi, has lost hope of finding him alive.

On the other hand, for three weeks, the prosecutor's office of Laç continues to have an active criminal proceeding for "kidnapping".

During these three weeks, searches are being carried out by the police and, in parallel, private searches to find Martinaj have also been carried out by members of his family.
