Informacioni është marrë që ai ndodhej në shtëpi i armatosur dhe në prani të gruas dhe fëmijëve, dhe ndaj pallati është rrethuar me efektivë të RENEA-s.

Por pas negicimit me të, Arsen Muskurti, është vetëdorëzuar duke treguar të gjithë dinamikën e krimit. 
Vetë Arsen Muskurti, ka bërë hapjen e kasafortës ku është gjetur pistoleta, dy krëhëra me fishekë dhe leja e armës e miratuar një vit më parë nga Policia e Tiranës. Armën Muskurti e kishte për ta mbajtur me lejë vetëm në ambjentet e banesës dhe jo për të dalë me të në ambjente publike dhe në rrugë.

Ndaj nisur nga kjo situatë, prokuroria ka ngritur ndaj tij akuzën e “Mbajtjes pa lejë të armëve” dhe “Vrasjes  për shkak të marëdhënies familjare”.

Vetë autori i krimit gjatë marrjes në pyetje, ka qënë shumë i qetë dhe nuk ka shfaqur asnjë pendesë për krimin e kryer.
