In the morning hours of this Monday, the digital media La Posta presented a police report that would link the citizen Rubén Chérrez to the criminal structure known as the 'Albanian mafia', an international criminal organization linked to drug trafficking. With the presentation of images and telephone recordings, the product of police investigations, it has been verified that there was at least one meeting between Chérrez and members of the Albanian mafia in Guayaquil.

In a scheme published by journalist Christian Zurita, a clear scheme of connections and the names of the Albanians involved is presented.

It is about citizens Dritan Gjika, Mario Vani, Blerim Dibra and Erjon Spahiu.

Meanwhile, the discovery of "La Posta" also shows Chérrez's relations with personalities close to the government of President Guillermo Lasso and his negotiations to obtain appointments to high positions within public companies and ministries.

Journalist Anderson Boscán and the investigative team of La Posta mentioned a report that the high command of the National Police hoped not to come to light, as well as the high command of the government authorities.

"After long months of investigation, La Posta has found a document that ministers and the president himself believed had been destroyed. Sipas raportit, atë 5 maj, në kompani mbërriti Rubén Chérrez, i cili do të lidhej me strukturën e “Kumbarit të Madh” që është mik i kunatit të Presidentit Guillermo Lasso, Danilo Carrera.

Në pjesën e dytë të hetimit për “Kumbarin e Madh”, u përmendën lidhjet e dyshuara të Chérrez me mafian shqiptare.

Ata treguan se, sipas raportit, Chérrez u takua sërish me anëtarët e organizatës kriminale në një kafene në Guayaquil, një takim që u regjistrua edhe në fotografi. Ashtu si një takim i tretë i mbajtur më 10 qershor të 2021, kur ai takoi një nga drejtuesit e grupit kriminal.

Raporti detajon përdorimin e automjeteve të ndryshme të nivelit të lartë, si Grand Cherokee, BMW dhe avionë të vegjël për të kryer lëvizjet e individëve që lidhen me hetimin.

La Posta shton se brenda raportit do të kishte më shumë se 10 mijë transkripte të telefonatave, të gjitha të bëra me urdhër të gjykatës dhe në të cilat mund të konfirmohet lidhja e Chérrez me mafian shqiptare dhe struktura e çështjes së thirrur “Kumbari i madh”.

Gazeta bën me dije se pozicioni i ndikimit të Danilo Carrera, kunatit të Presidentit të Republikës, do të shtrihej në të gjitha strukturat qeveritare.
