Investigators in New York are looking into the possibility that there was a fight between the Albanian couple who died over the weekend after jumping from their apartment.

The newspaper ' New York Post ' writes that Florind Belliu, 35 years old, and his wife, Ornela Shehi, 28 years old, were found dead in the courtyard of the palace, after apparently having been thrown from the sixth floor.

But a police source said things inside the apartment did not seem to be in harmony. " It didn't look like they just dropped the kids off and decided to jump in ," the source said.

According to him, there were signs in the apartment that things were not right, but he did not give details. The couple did not leave a suicide note. Authorities are waiting for an autopsy to determine if Shehi had other signs of violence before he fell from the building. A camera has recorded the moment when Shehi falls from the sixth floor. A few seconds later Belliu also jumps.

The couple had been living in this building for four months with their two small children. Authorities say they have not received any reports of domestic violence. Belliu was an actor originally from Albania. He recently worked as a driver to cover expenses.
