Daniele Bedini, the killer of Albanian Nevila Pjetri and transgender Camilla two months ago in Italy, tried to escape from prison again but was caught after 30 minutes at a train station.
According to the Italian media, the 32-year-old carpenter from Carrara, accused of murdering the sex worker and transgender in Liguria, has tried for the second time in two months to escape from prison. Bedini had once tried to escape from La Spezia prison and was therefore transferred to Cuneo. The agents blocked him at the station, on a train bound for Fossano. Back in the cell, he is now under maximum surveillance, under observation.
The daring escape, according to what is learned, happened yesterday at lunchtime when Bedini managed to get out into the street with dexterity and physical strength. As in the movies, he climbed over the courtyard wall of the village with his hands where he then reached the exit wall by climbing from the air conditioners to the roof of the gym, where after hanging on a pole, he jumped out of the Cuneo prison, where he is imprisoned under the 41 bis regime.
Peter was killed on the night between June 4 and 5 in Marinella di Sarzana and 24 hours later Camilla was killed, not far from the scene of the first crime. Both were beaten and killed with gunshots to the head. The weapon used is a caliber 22, which was the pistol stolen from Bedini's father, which has not yet been found. Nevila Pjetri is suspected to have been killed during a robbery: according to the investigators, the thirty-year-old was looking for money to buy drugs, while Camilla was probably because she was an unpleasant witness to the first murder or always to robbery.
