Albi Muhollari drowned his mother Zeniate Nuhollari, 65 years old, on Saturday evening and the cause is suspected to be the young man's serious psychological condition.

The 24-year-old had returned a few days ago from the USA where he had been living for years while showing signs of a serious psychological condition. The family members had accompanied him to the Përmet hospital, where after the examination he was diagnosed with "mood disorders".

Regarding the crime, doctor Kiço Stefanidhi spoke to the media. The doctor stated that the author Albi Muhollari was not aggressive. He denied having the documentation or information about his health condition.

"He lives in America, there is no information from his family about any problems in America or any hospital documents. For the first time, he came two days ago to the emergency department of the hospital, he was assessed by us as calm, with normal communication, with acceptable reasoning, without signs of aggression, he took a regular sedative and went home peacefully" , says neurologist Koço Stathodhari.

"The common practice is that patients who are aggressive (which this one was not) should not be transferred to another hospital. There was no sign of aggression. The visit with me took place two days before the event", says neurologist Koço Stathodhari.

On Saturday evening, during a family argument, the young man, the only son of the family, allegedly suffocated his mother with a plastic bag. He was detained by the Permet police. The neighbors say that this family has been regular and the boy has not shown signs of aggression before.

" The boy was at school like I have a daughter as a teacher, he was the quietest boy in school, everyone was surprised, quiet boy, we don't know that we know, the bad luck of both of them, like the boy and her, we are sorry for both of them, the 24-year-old son who did not grow up well and this next woman" , says a neighbor of the family.

The local police in cooperation with the investigation bodies continue the intensive work for the complete clarification of this serious event.
