According to the investigative file provided by 'On target', Ervis Martinaj appears on camera in the presence of the Operational officer on August 5 at 21:15 in the evening in one of the popular hotels in the coastal area.

Together with Martinaj, a well-known girl from the screen can be seen in the picture, who accompanies him all the time. The girl who was later confirmed to be a public figure, winner in one of the most well-known beauty exhibitions in Albania.

As the footage of the security cameras in the hotel will show, initially, during this time, officer Lami enters the hotel and reserves a room with his name, where he also leaves his personal phone number.

After this moment, the police officer leaves the hotel and returns there the next day, where he is seen driving Martinaj and the girl accompanying him.

Discoveries that would lead the investigative team to another course of events, which overturned each other.

"The last time we met was the evening of August 5, when we went to a hotel in Durrës. That evening we stayed in the hotel and left the next day. Even in the following two days, that is until August 7, I had contact with him. We then cut off all communication. I met Ervis at the beginning of 2022. I don't have any information about what happened to him and for what reasons", stated Ervis Martinaj's friend.

August 7 seems to have been Ervis Martinaj's last contact with the girl he was dating.

Meanwhile, Martinaj's family members give the date of August 9 in the evening as their last contact with the relative reported missing.

But while the investigative group had new evidence on Martinaj's fate, it also started work on narrowing the circle of friends with whom the most wanted character of the moment was seen moving recently.

The first to be detained was the agent of the Operational Forces, Jeton Lami.

The last person who was seen alive with Ervis Martinaj, a few days before the latter was reported missing. Jeton Lami was arrested on August 23, 2022. He was handcuffed in his boss's office.

At first he was asked about the last movements he had made and among other things if he had been in Durrës during the last month.

Lami admitted that he had been in this city with his family members, but denied that he had been with people wanted by the police.

Likewise, he answered in the negative to the question if he had had contact with Ervis Martinaj.

Jeton Lami në ambientet e këtij hoteli rezervon dhomën për shtetasit Ervis Martinaj dhe të njohurën e tij. Ashtu siç e theksuam edhe më herët, ajo që do ta fundoste dëshminë e efektivit Jeton Lami, do të ishin pamjet filmike të hotelit ku shfaqej në praninë e Ervis Martinaj”.

Teksa Jeton Lami, ndodhet pas hekurave të qelisë, ky i fundit nuk ka pranuar të flasë më shumë për ditët e fundit të kaluara me Ervis Martinaj.

Lami ka kontaktuar fizikisht personin në kërkim ndërkombëtar Ervis Martinaj, nuk ka marrë asnjë masë për kapjen e tij dhe nuk ka vënë në dijeni eprorët e tij për këtë fakt, madje e ka shoqëruar, ka qëndruar me të, e ka ndihmuar të strehohet në hotel etj”.

Por ndërsa grupi hetimor kërkon të gjejë shtigje të reja drejt zbardhjes të së vërtetës për zhdukjen e Ervis Martinaj, duket se humbja e tij pa gjurmë, është e mbuluar nga një tis mjegulle që vazhdon të qëndrojë pezull mbi ngjarjen.

Ndërsa Policia është në kërkim të autorëve të mundshëm të rrëmbimit dhe zhdukjes së tij., një ndër këto dyshime lidhet edhe me hasmëritë që Ervis Martinaj, kishte krijuar kohë pas kohe. /Emisioni në Shënjestër
