This time the Supreme State Control has become a bone of contention for the opposition and the majority in the Economy Commission.
Deputy Erion Braçe insisted on changes in the structure of the KLSH. The MP of the majority said that KLSH should be a transparent institution, since there are no shortage of cases of corruption.
"We have an internal audit of the executive institutions, which, to be honest, leaves a lot to be desired and in some cases has been corrupted. KLSH has the responsibility to audit the internal auditors in order not to allow the corruption of the internal audit, such as the auditors in the tax customs sector who have become a problem", says Braçe.
But, MP Alban Xhelili said that the changes are made thanks to standards, not laws, and cases of corruption should be reported.
"If you have a corrupt element or that there are corrupt people, it is very nice for the person who knows, to go and denounce them. I'm not talking about here, I'm talking about those who play the role of a spy," said Alban Xhelili.
According to Braçe, if we are going to create transparency of KLSH, the time and plan of the audit should be made public.
"I work with information, I don't work with spies. Now they have 10 months in a directorate there, what does the auditor do 10 months in a directorate, and the director knows what the director knows that the director knows this", said Braçe further.
For Brace's colleague, determining the time of the audit is an excessive request.
"O friend, how can you determine the time of the KLSH check, I did a routine check, you say. I am against this", said Frrok Gjini.
"I am looking for transparency in determining the deadline and the arguments for postponing the deadline," Braçe continued.
At the end of the commission meeting, the raised voices did not decide anything about the new functioning of the independent institution, KLSH./TCH
