The websites of some Albanian institutions have been under continuous attack for days by a group of hackers.
Recently, the website of the Albanian Information Service became the target of hackers, causing difficulties in accessing it.
According to reports, the attacks are being carried out by the "IT Army of Russia", which is said to have connections with Russian intelligence.
In a post in Russian on their channels, these hackers have called for the continuation of attacks on the websites of Albanian institutions, including SHISH, in order to temporarily take them out of service.
"Good evening CyberArmy, we are trying to continue our modest work with Albania. We are trying to overthrow the State Intelligence Service - the State Police. Let's attack", says one of the Russian hackers' messages.
Russian cyberattacks against Albania have started since Prime Minister Edi Rama clashed with Russia's ambassador to the UN, during the meeting of the Security Council where Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelensky was invited to speak.
