The father of the killer of 14-year-old Martin Cami has broken his silence. Ndue Përleshi has accused the media, during a phone call with the Top Channel journalist.

He said that he has not yet communicated with the family of the deceased Martin, but that "he has enough courage to do such a thing".

He accused the media of portraying him as a heartless man after not publicly reacting to his son's macabre gesture.

"What am I apologizing for? How do you know the pain I have? What are these provocations you do? You are attacking me because I am very heavy and very sad in my soul for the one who died in the first place. You have a news audience, you are not interested at all. I haven't spoken to Martini's family, I'm trying to talk to them, I have enough manhood and enough spirit to talk to Martini's family.
