Armed Forces and fire fighters today fought the flames spread in several hotspots in different areas of the country.

The Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi announces that the Armed Forces and the Cougar helicopter, under the coordination of the Civil Defense Agency, have engaged during today in the action of extinguishing the fires in Peshtan, Qafa e Shkoza and Kreshpan village in the Cakran administrative unit of Fier Municipality.

Members of the Armed Forces and 7 vehicles were engaged alongside the firefighting forces of the Municipality of Vlora to extinguish the fire at the urban waste dump. There are currently no flames, but there is still smoke due to internal combustion, without any problems for the city. In the meantime, work is being done in some other areas of the country, in the village of Çeprat, administrative unit of Shušicë, where the strong wind favors the spread of flames.

In the village of Kus near Dry Lake in Tirana, 20 forces and 4 vehicles are working for the total isolation of the flames.

There is also a problematic situation in the village of Buz of the Memaliaj Municipality, where the wind makes work difficult. 13 officers and a vehicle were engaged in extinguishing the fire in the village of Skrevan in the Municipality of Dimal, the hearth of which was reactivated.
