Socialist Party MP Erion Braçe has strongly condemned the violence at the protest called by Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha.

Through a post on social media, Braçe considered today's protest as an attempt by militants to kill State Police officers.

Demanding that 'this attempt to kill' not be forgiven, Brace added that this model of protests is no longer protected by law.

Braca's post:

Tirana today, the courtyard of the Assembly of the Republic;

This is no longer a protest - it is guaranteed and protected by law;

These are no longer protesters in their own right and protected by the law;

This is an attempt to kill state servants - state police officers on duty!

If the police and justice system condone this attempted murder - as it has been tolerated every time in 12 years,

then this is a great betrayal towards those honest men and women who are defending the state, the state of the Albanians, not of parties or politicians!!
