The police have arrested 31-year-old Sadri Selaci , who was wanted for the murder of Florian Selim on the night of Kurban Bayram in 2019.

The young man was sentenced to 19 years in prison, for the criminal offense "Deliberate murder", committed in collaboration.     

" In implementation of the plan of measures, drawn up in the framework of the coded nationwide mega-operation "Rule of Law", the services of the Fier Police Station, in cooperation with the Section for the Investigation of Serious Crimes of the DVP Fier, have organized the coded police operation "Sharp", as a result of which the wanted citizen Sadri Selaci, 31 years old, was captured.    

The Court of First Instance of Fier General Jurisdiction, with the decision dated 06.07.2023, has sentenced this citizen to 19 years of imprisonment for the criminal offense of "Deliberate murder", committed in cooperation.

     

On 11.08.2019, in the place called "Ura e Zharra", this citizen, in cooperation with the citizen KM (currently serving the sentence in the IEVP), killed the citizen FS with a cutting tool (knife), "reports the police.

23-year-old Florian Selimi was killed for weak motives with a knife in the neck and his body was dragged a few meters from the scene.

The authors of the event that happened in 2019 in the village of Hamil in Fier, were Kiri Mernica and Sadri Selaci . The young man from Tropoja had been living in Sulaj i Fieri for several years, in the same village as the two authors.

At that time, the victim had stopped to fix his vehicle, because there was a defect in the tire, and it seems that at this moment he was killed by the two perpetrators. The father of the 23-year-old at that time stated that late at night, he received a call from his son, who had asked him for help to fix the car.

According to the victim's father, Floriani told his father that the car had left him on the street. Then they could not communicate together.
