NAME/ Much wanted in Spain for cannabis trafficking and fraud, the 22-year-old

A 22-year-old man from Fier was arrested today after being wanted by Spain. It is learned that Xhovalin Aliaj, who was wanted internationally by Spain for several criminal offenses, has been arrested.

Aliaj was wanted for " Trafficking in narcotics ", " Commercial fraud ", " Vandalism ", " Possessing weapons without a permit " and " Theft of electricity ", carried out in the form of a criminal organization. After his arrest, efforts are being made to extradite him to Spain. 

Police Notification:

The third citizen declared internationally wanted on behalf of Spain was captured in Albania. Accused by the Spanish authorities, as a member of a violent criminal organization with activity in numerous crimes, the 22-year-old is put in handcuffs for the purpose of extradition.

The services of the Fier Police Station and those of the Narcotics Investigation Section of DVP Fier, based on the information provided through information intelligence, about the location of an internationally wanted citizen, have organized and finalized the police operation coded "Member".

As part of this operation, as a result of the exchange of information with Interpol Tirana, citizen Xhovalin Aliaj, 22 years old, resident of Fier, was arrested in the village of Cakran, and was temporarily arrested, to be extradited to Spain.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted, after the Spanish judicial authorities have assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses: "Trafficking in narcotics", "Commercial fraud", "Vandalism", "Carrying weapons without a permit" and " Theft of electricity", carried out in the form of a criminal organization and provided for by the criminal legislation of Spain.

From the investigations carried out in this country, it has emerged that the 22-year-old, in collaboration with other citizens, adapted closed spaces, in different cities of Spain, for the cultivation of narcotic plants, by means of lamps. Interpol Tirana is following the procedures for the extradition of this citizen.
