A car accident was registered this Monday afternoon on the Lushnjë-Berat axis. 

Sources inform that the "Toyota" vehicle with license plate "AB249CY" hit 65-year-old Ilmi Murati from the village of Barbullinje, who was riding a bicycle.

The 65-year-old was urgently transported to Lushnja hospital. The investigative team and the police are working to fully clarify the incident.

According to preliminary data, the accident victim Murat got in front of the vehicle on a bicycle, which he could not avoid because there was another vehicle in front of him.
