The eagle that was crucified alive in Permet with the intention of embalming it, could not survive its wounds and died despite all efforts to save its life. The macabre case was registered a day ago in the village of Bual in Permet.

In the published video, the bird was seen "crucified" alive on a fence, in the streets of the village. Her feet were bloodied, while the crucified eagle looked at the person filming this event.

Specialists of the Agency of Protected Areas and a veterinarian went to help the injured bird, but were unable to save its life.

This is not the first case when different animals are mistreated, but the case of the Buffalo in Përmet is even more painful, because the bird associated with the national identity is mistreated.
