A serious incident was reported in the village of Vërdovë in Pogradec, where a 12-year-old girl was allegedly sexually abused for a long time by a 29-year-old man.

The police say that they arrested the citizen with the initials KT, 29 years old, after allegedly sexually abusing the minor.

The 12-year-old admitted to the psychologist that she had a 2-year relationship with the perpetrator.

"Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Pogradec Police Station took initiative to arrest the citizen KT, 29 years old, resident in the village of Vërdovë, Pogradec, after allegedly having sexual relations with a 12-year-old minor, who in the presence of her parents and psychologists has declared that he has a 2-year relationship with the citizen K. T", the police informs.
