A 15-year-old man was arrested by the Korca police, after allegedly having sexual relations with a 13-year-old girl.

The young man was declared wanted after it was found that he had broken the "House Arrest" security measure, set by the court for a theft case in which he was involved.

After the police investigations, it was discovered that the 15-year-old had left with a minor girl, who had been denounced by the family members as having left the apartment.

The minor girl was handed over to her family, while the materials for the 15-year-old were referred to the prosecutor's office for further action.

Police notification:

Following the information provided yesterday, which refers to the announcement of the search for a 15-year-old resident of Korçë, who had gone out of his apartment, contrary to the decision of the Court, which had assigned the security measure "House arrest", for the criminal offense of "Theft" and had left with a 13-year-old girl, we inform you that the crime investigation specialists of the Korça Police Station have caught and arrested the 15-year-old.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that this citizen had sexual relations with the 13-year-old girl with whom he had left, who was found and handed over to her family," the police announcement states .
