Durrës, the Chief of the Border Police Station is suspended

Today, the Chief of the Durrës Border Police Station, Deputy Commissioner Kastriot Karafili, has been suspended from duty.

The Head of the Station has been suspended from office, for failure to fulfill functional duties and responsibilities, for lack of work indicators within the framework of the fight to prevent and combat smuggling and vehicle traffic.

The Directorate of Professional Standards in the State Police has launched a disciplinary investigation for poor performance during the performance of duty, as well as for non-implementation of standard work procedures.

Meanwhile, on the part of the State Police, it is required to increase the level and standards for service to citizens and increase the work indicators in the fight against illegalities and crime.
