A serious incident happened in Maliq i Korça, a 56-year-old man raped his co-habitant who was pregnant.

It is reported that the 56-year-old identified as Arif Myftarago , barbarically raped the young woman who was 2 months pregnant by kicking her in the stomach, causing her to have an abortion.

The young woman is in the maternity hospital of Korça, under the care of doctors.

Police notification:

"Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Malik Police Station arrested in the act the citizen AM, 56 years old, resident of the village of Drithas, Malik, after allegedly kicking his roommate in the stomach, who as a result aborted the 2-month-old fetus and is in the maternity hospital of Korça, under the care of doctors," the police announcement states.
